Arrival & Departure

Where is the hotel garage located, how much does parking cost and can I reserve a parking space?

Our guests can park in the Casino’s underground parking garage (right next to the hotel) or in the outdoor parking lots at Casino Velden for EUR 10 per 24 hours. In addition, guests staying at the CasinoHotel can also use our hotel’s own parking lot for EUR 5 per 24 hours. This parking lot is located a 1-minute walk from our hotel. However, it is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance.

When can I check in or out?

Check-in is possible from 15:00, check-out is until 12:00. It is possible to use the hotel’s private beach and wellness area before check-in or after check-out.

Is early check-in or late check-out possible?

Subject to availability and circumstances, late check-out is possible for an additional fee. During peak season, the surcharge is EUR 40; during early and mid-season, it is EUR 30.

Early check-in is not offered; however, if your room is ready earlier than scheduled, you may check in early at no additional charge.

Can I leave my suitcases if I arrive earlier or leave later?

Unfortunately, our hotel does not have a storage room. However, if possible and space permits, you can leave your luggage at the front desk in the meantime.

Is there a charging facility for electric cars and what does charging cost?

You can charge your electric car in the casino’s underground garage – electricity is charged according to consumption, as indicated on the signs. The parking fee itself is EUR 10 per 24 hours.

How do I travel by train and is it possible to be picked up from the station?

The train station in Velden is only 800 meters away from the CasinoHotel Velden. The walk takes about 10 minutes. In addition, the front desk will be happy to arrange a taxi for you. The cost is around EUR 10.

Living & Rooms

Is there anything to consider in the rooms?

Our hotel offers a variety of room categories. We offer standard double rooms, superior double rooms with a sauna or private bathtub and a TV in the bathroom, junior suites, and a spacious suite. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature either a French balcony or a standard balcony with seating.

When are the rooms ready for occupancy?

Rooms at the CasinoHotel are guaranteed to be ready for check-in at 3:00 p.m. – or earlier, if available.

Are there cribs available if I am traveling with a child? Is there a high chair in the breakfast room?

Yes, both cribs and highchairs are available at the CasinoHotel Velden.

Are there rooms with connecting doors?

We also offer junior suites with two separate bedrooms and a shared living area.

Is it possible to get bed linen for guests with allergies?

If you need hypoallergenic bedding, please contact the front desk upon arrival or let us know your preference in advance when making your reservation.

When is breakfast served? And what do I do if I sleep through it?

During the winter months, we serve breakfast on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on weekends from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
During the summer months, you can enjoy breakfast on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on weekends from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
If you miss breakfast, an à la carte breakfast is available. In addition, we offer breakfast in your room upon request and subject to availability; there is a surcharge of EUR 3 per person.

Is half board available? And if so, what is included?

You have the option of booking half-board with dinner at the casino restaurant “Die Yacht” as part of your stay at the CasinoHotel. The price is EUR 47 per person and includes a 4-course meal, excluding drinks. Please note that this offer is subject to availability and is for adults only, as access is only possible through Casino Velden.

Where is the private beach located and are sun loungers available there?

The hotel’s private beach is 150 meters away from the CasinoHotel Velden. Umbrellas and lounge chairs are also available on the beach, and you can pick up free beach towels at our front desk.

Can I still use the beach before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, you can use the wellness area and the beach both before check-in on the day of arrival and after check-out on the day of departure.

What selection does the breakfast offer and are vegetarian or vegan options available?

We offer a generous continental breakfast. In addition, we provide both vegetarian dishes and vegan options. We are also happy to accommodate any food intolerances, such as gluten intolerance.

When is the wellness area open?

The wellness area is generally open during reception hours. For further information, please contact our reception staff directly.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

At our “Le Café,” located right inside the CasinoHotel, you can enjoy delicious light meals and snacks, as well as homemade pastries, ice cream, and specialty coffees from Schärf.

Velden also offers a wide variety of excellent restaurants; we’d especially like to recommend the restaurant “Die Yacht” at Casino Velden.

General information

What services are included in my stay at the CasinoHotel?

The price includes a hearty breakfast as well as access to our small but lovely wellness area, featuring a sauna, steam room, infrared cabin, tropical shower, and heated loungers. In the summer, you can also enjoy our hotel’s private beach, complete with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels.

Is my pet allowed in the hotel and what does it cost?

Pets are generally welcome at the CasinoHotel Velden, except in the breakfast room and on the beach. The surcharge for bringing your pet is EUR 15,- per day.

Is there a fitness area in the hotel?

No, there is no fitness area in our hotel.

How long is reception open? And who do I contact in an emergency?

In winter, reception is open from 07:00 – 21:00.
In summer, reception is open from 07:00 – 22:00.

There is a telephone in the room that contains all emergency numbers. If you are unable to get to your room, you will find an emergency card in the lobby of Casino Velden. A staff member will then use it to open your room. In addition, the contact information for Mr. Politzky, Ms. Pichler, and Ms. Premur-Metaj is on file at Casino Velden—a casino employee will be happy to contact these individuals on your behalf in case of an emergency.

Is it possible to book a room without breakfast?

In principle, our room rate also includes breakfast. However, if you expressly do not wish to have breakfast, this can also be arranged upon request.

How long can I cancel free of charge? Is there cancellation insurance?

Our cancellation policy for your stay at the CasinoHotel:

up to 3 months before the arrival date: No cancellation policy
up to 1 month for the day of arrival: 40 % of the total arrangement price
up to 1 week before the day of arrival: 70 % of the total package price
in the last week before the day of arrival: 90 % of the total package price

You can of course take out travel cancellation insurance with a provider of your choice at any time.

What type of payment is possible?

You can pay in cash or by card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Diners, and American Express.

Is it possible to have laundry cleaned and ironed?

We offer a laundry service if required. Further information is available at reception.
