Day Trip to Ljubljana

    • Starting Point and Meeting Place – Casino Hotel Velden Reception
      At 9:00 a.m., you’ll set off with our Visit Hotspots tour guides via a private shuttle (minivan) directly from the Casino Hotel Velden to the heart of the Slovenian capital.
    • Around 10:30 a.m., we’ll take you to a welcome café in downtown Ljubljana, and your city tour will get off to a completely relaxed start.
      It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself in the urban vibe of this charming city.
    • At 11:00 a.m., we’ll take you to the starting point of the guided city tour. With the Ljubljana City Guide we’ve booked for you, you’ll discover the most beautiful corners of the Old Town, learn about historical events and amusing stories from this impressive city, stroll along the Ljubljanica River, and experience the unique blend of Mediterranean lightness and Alpine clarity.
    • The guided tour of Ljubljana Castle ends around 1:00 p.m. From here, an impressive view opens up over the city’s rooftops all the way to the surrounding mountain ranges—a panorama that strikingly illustrates just how close the Alps and the Adriatic Sea come together here.
    • The following time slot, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., is yours to spend as you wish: Visit one of the museums, stroll through the shopping streets, enjoy the atmosphere in the cafés and restaurants along the Ljubljanica River, or relax in one of the Old Town’s idyllic parks.
    • Meet at 4:00 p.m. at the Sukle Wine Bar (on the Ljublanica promenade)—after a final drink, we’ll take you back in comfort to the Casino Hotel Velden. A day trip full of memorable experiences, moments of pleasure, and southern joie de vivre.
